A well known hotelier in Ogun State, Alhaji Jimoh Bello, who disappeared on Monday night May 18, was discovered dead inside his vehicle trunk along Owode-Idi-Iroko Road in the state today May 21.
Late Bello who possesses Uncle J. Honey bee Hotel situated at 168, Lagos-Idiroko Road, Owode, Yewa South Local Government region of Ogun State, left his home at Owode around 8:30pm on May 18 for Idi-Iroko however never got to his goal. His relatives announced him missing in the wake of hanging tight for 48 hours.
After an extreme hunt, he was discovered stripped inside the storage compartment of his cantina vehicle today May 21. It is accepted that he was trapped on his way by attackers who stripped and slaughtered him, at that point bolted his body inside his vehicle.
Street clients who saw an odor from a vehicle that was positioned by the side of the road, alarmed the police who opened the vehicle and found the man's dead body in the storage compartment.
The state Commissioner for Police, Kenneth Ebrimson, who affirmed the episode, said an examination has started.
"He was accounted for missing on Wednesday. Today, we got a call about a vehicle left out and about with blood. Cops went to the scene, opened the storage compartment and found his body.
As of now, we don't have the foggiest idea how he was executed or the individuals who did it. We don't have a clue whether the blood was because of body wounds.
"The body was at that point in an awful shape when it was found. We have started examination.'' he said
