Trapped in Thai airport: social media 'rescues' three Nigerians

It began with a post on Twitter by a columnist, Richard Barrow. He tweeted a few Nigerians had been caught at a Thai air terminal. Incapable to enter the nation or to get back. He posted the scene on May 17. 

It read to a limited extent: "Obviously there are a few Nigerians who have been caught at Suvarnabhumi air terminal throughout the previous two months simply like in the film The Terminal. They can't enter Thailand and they can't return home. 

"What is endearing are the customary Thais who are supporting them. Much obliged to you," the post was joined via air terminal laborers supporting the abandoned party with food. 

The next day, he tweeted somewhere in the range of a report on the issue: "UPDATE: Two showed up on 21 March on an Emirates trip with the goal to associate with Laos. The other one showed up on 24 March on Etihad with an association with Myanmar. Tragically both of those nations shut their outskirts. 

"None of them could make a trip back to Nigeria as that course was shut as well. As they didn't have a visa for Thailand (they were just in travel), they couldn't enter the nation. Along these lines, they have been caught in the air terminal for almost two months now. 

He further uncovered that the air terminal specialists had been giving help, for example, food, drinking water and fundamental consideration. Aircraft staff have been helping them as well. They had additionally experienced a COVID-19 test which was negative.
